The short version. Grail Guide is free and in beta. It helps you decide which cards you want. It does not sell cards, hold cards, or hold money. The prices are a guide and they can be wrong. If you use it to spend money, that decision is yours.
A free app that shows you Pokémon cards, learns which ones you like, and keeps a list of the ones you want. When you tap a buy button it sends you to TCGplayer or eBay, shops we have nothing to do with, and everything that happens after that is between you and them.
We are not a shop, a broker, a marketplace or an escrow. We never take payment, hold a card, or take part in a sale.
Prices come from public card catalogues, refresh about once a day, and are a rough guide to what a card has been selling for. They can be stale, wrong, or for a different printing than the one you are looking at. Totals are the same numbers added up, with the same problems.
Nothing here is financial or investment advice. Cards are not an investment product, prices go down as well as up, and what a card is worth to you is not something an app can tell you. Check the real listing before you buy anything.
Your swipes and lists are yours. They live on your device, and on our server too if you sign in. You can export them at any time from the Me tab, and start over deletes the local copy immediately. If you sign in and want the server copy gone, email us and it goes.
This is a beta. We back things up and we are careful, but do not treat Grail Guide as the only record of anything you care about. Export a copy.
Card images and names are © Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK and The Pokémon Company. Grail Guide is a fan project and is not affiliated with them, or with TCGplayer. Catalogue data comes from pokemontcg.io and TCGdex. Everything we wrote ourselves, the app and its words, belongs to us.
Grail Guide is free. When you buy a card through the eBay link here we earn a commission from eBay, through their partner network. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change which cards the app shows you or how your list is ranked. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Grail Guide is provided as it is, with no warranty. We do not promise it will always be available, always be correct, or always exist. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for money you spend, cards you buy, a price that was wrong, or data lost from your own device. If a court decides we owe you something anyway, the most it can be is what you paid us, which is nothing.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, in the United States.
Grail Guide is being built in the open and this page will change with it. The date at the top is the last time it did. Carrying on using the app after a change means the new version applies. If a change matters, we will say so in the app rather than hoping you re-read this.
